From Pablo Narvaez, Barra de la Cruz, Mexico: In all Mexico we have an emergency as you probably know. Tonight we have a meeting and it has been decided that the Barra will be closed for one week and maybe two, depending on how things go with this flu. All people who aren't permanent residents in the village will need to vacate tomorrow. Just thought I would let you know in case you were planning to come down. It will be hard for us tomorrow to tell the surfers they have to leave but we need to protect the local community. If you can let people know so they don't turn up and be disappointed.
